The University of Minnesota Physicians seeks a faculty member in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health to lead clinical instruction for residents and medical students across ambulatory clinics and hospital settings.

The role includes didactic lectures, mentoring, and curriculum development, with opportunities for scholarly activity and involvement in DEI initiatives, accreditation reviews, and committee work.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and family medicine residency completed.
• Board certification in Family Medicine.
• Minnesota medical licensure or eligibility to practice.
• Experience in medical teaching is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical instruction to residents and medical students in ambulatory clinic, hospital, and other training sites.
• Provide didactic instruction through seminars, lectures, workshops and grand rounds.
• Mentor and advise residents and medical students.
• Provide patient care in full-scope family medicine, including obstetrics.
• Develop, implement and evaluate curricula; participate in faculty meetings and committees.
• Represent the program at professional meetings and pursue scholarly activities.
