Job summary

University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking an experienced physician educator to provide clinical instruction and oversight of medical residents and students across ambulatory and hospital training sites, and to deliver didactic seminars, lectures, workshops, and grand rounds.

This role involves mentoring residents and students, providing patient care in a full‑scope family medicine practice (including obstetrics), developing and evaluating curriculum, and fulfilling administrative duties such

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completion of a Family Medicine residency.
• Board certified in Family Medicine; licensed or eligible in Minnesota.
• Licensed or able to obtain a Minnesota medical license and DEA registration.
• Ability to obtain U.S. work authorization and maintain legal status.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction and oversight of medical residents and medical students in ambulatory, hospital, and other training sites.
• Deliver didactic instruction through seminars, lectures, workshops, and grand rounds.
• Mentor and advise residents and students.
• Provide patient care within a full‑scope family medicine practice, including obstetrics.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum.
• Perform administrative duties such as attending faculty meetings and serving on committees.
• Participate in accreditation reviews and represent the program at professional meetings.
• Support faculty development and scholarly activities.
