Job summary

SEARHC in Alaska seeks a primary care clinician (NP/PA) to provide comprehensive services across all ages and genders within SEARHC facilities. You will coordinate care, document accurately, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure continuous patient access.

The role requires Alaska NP/PA licensure, board certification, DEA registration, and active SEARHC privileges, with BLS or CALS and higher-level certifications as needed. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• State of Alaska Medical License as an NP or PA.
• Board-certified in specialty by accrediting body.
• Maintains active, unrestricted DEA registration.
• Maintains active SEARHC medical staff privileges.
• BLS, CALS. If no CALS then ACLS, PALS, ATLS, BLSO, NRP are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care including diagnosis, treatment, minor procedures, coordination of care, referrals, preventive care, and health maintenance for a dedicated panel of patients.
• Participate in shared local urgent/emergent care on-call rotation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services in SEARHC policy.
• Provide optimal patient experience using strong listening and communication skills.
• Build long-term patient care relationships.
• Consult SEARHC physicians as needed and use access to specialists when needed.
