Job summary

SEARHC is seeking a dedicated nurse practitioner or physician assistant to provide comprehensive primary care across all ages in the Southeast Alaska region. You will diagnose, treat, and coordinate care, maintaining strong patient relationships and collaborating with SEARHC specialists as needed.

The role requires Alaska licensure as an NP/PA, board certification, active DEA, and BLS. You will work in a full-time, M-F schedule within SEARHC facilities, supporting community health in Wrangell

Qualifications

• Requires Alaska NP or PA license and board certification.
• Active DEA registration and SEARHC medical staff privileges required.
• BLS certification mandatory; prior clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive primary care including diagnosis, treatment, minor procedures, and referrals.
• Coordinates care across SEARHC network with other specialists as needed.
• Maintains accurate documentation per SEARHC policy.
• Delivers high-quality patient care with effective communication.
• Participates in provider and clinic meetings and quality initiatives.
