Job summary

Medicorp, Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking a Board Certified Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds physician within 1 year of residency to join our urgent care, located about an hour west of Boston. The full-time position includes 32 clinic hours and 8 admin hours weekly, with admin time eligible for remote work.

You will see 20-22 patients daily in a busy, fast-paced setting with NextGen EMR. We offer competitive salary of $210,000–$230,000 plus full benefits and visa sponsorship

Qualifications

• Board-certified or near board certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds within 1 year of residency.
• Willing to see patients of all ages.
• Experience in urgent care settings is preferred but entry-level considered.

Responsibilities

• See 20–22 patients per day in a fast-paced urgent care.
• Perform common urgent care procedures (suturing, injections, skin procedures).
• Manage care with NextGen EMR and collaborate with team.
• Attend to administrative duties during protected sessions; some sessions may be remote.

Job description

Urgent care-1 hour from Boston

• Urgent Care Opening - One hour west of Boston, MA.
• Employed practice seeks a Board Certified Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Med/Peds within 1 year of residency completion
• Salary: $210,000-$230,000
• Must be willing to see all ages
• Full-time clinicians are scheduled for eight clinical sessions (32 hours total) and two administrative sessions (8 hours total) each week. Administrative sessions can be completed remotely.
• Clinic hours of operation: Monday-Thursday 8:20am-6:45pm Fridays 8:20-4:45pm
• Call responsibilities are light and can be taken by phone only. Either 2 week-day call shifts a month or one weekend call shift a month
• Physicians see 20-22 patients a day.
• Patient Panels of 1200
• NextGen EMR
• We will take entry level and we will take Visa Sponsorship candidates.
• Procedural skills including but not limited to stitching and suturing, joint injections, EKG interpretation, skin procedures, and reproductive health procedures.
