Duties:
Manage a full caseload focusing primarily on family law, while occasionally handling matters in estate planning, civil litigation, and business law
Draft and file court-ready documents, including motions, pleadings, declarations, and legal memoranda
Offer strategic legal guidance in matters such as divorce, child custody, visitation, and support
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on case-specific issues
Engage with clients through clear, empathetic communication and regular updates
Develop case strategies that align with client objectives and California law
Participate in internal projects focused on improving operational workflows and client service through technology
Requirements:
Licensed to practice law in California and good standing with the State Bar
Minimum of 2 years’ focused experience in family law litigation
Proven ability to independently manage family law matters from intake to resolution
Proficiency in remote communication and digital document workflows
Capacity to handle sensitive cases with discretion and professionalism
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Ongoing legal education in family law or related practice areas is advantageous
