The role requires 3+ years in family law, an associate degree in paralegal studies, and strong proficiency with MS Word/Excel, Outlook, and legal software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of family law paralegal or legal assistant experience.
• Associate’s degree in paralegal studies or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents.
• Prepare financial disclosures, child support worksheets, and parenting plans.
• Manage case calendars, track deadlines, and ensure timely filings.
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel professionally.
• Edit drafts and prepare documents for signing.
• Handle sensitive client data with discretion and accuracy.
• Perform tasks promptly to meet deadlines.
