Our client is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal for a direct hire opportunity in Virginia Beach, VA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with dedicated family law experience and strong knowledge of local court procedures, including Circuit Court processes on the Southside and in Newport News.

The Family Law Paralegal will support attorneys with contested and uncontested divorce, child support, child custody, adoption, pleadings, discovery, court communications, client interaction, scheduling, and case management. Key Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and related family law case materials.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing parties, attorneys, and court personnel.
• Schedule meetings, court dates, client appointments, and case-related deadlines.
• Meet with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and support attorney preparation.
• Produce case status reports and maintain organized case files and documentation.
• Support monthly billing requirements through accurate timekeeping and case activity tracking.
