Job summary

Boly-Welch Inc. is seeking a resourceful Family Law Paralegal in Portland to support attorneys across all areas of family law.

You will manage discovery, track deadlines, assist with trial prep, attend hearings, and coordinate with clients while preparing witnesses. This in-office role offers opportunities to grow in a small, specialized firm with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in family law.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Knowledge of local court rules and procedures.
• Paralegal certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full case management including discovery and investigations.
• Track deadlines and respond to RFPs.
• Assist with trial prep and attend hearings, trials and mediations.
• Coordinate with clients, prepare witnesses for trial and gather witness statements.
• Support attorneys as right-hand to a busy team.

Your New Role:

This small, specialized law firm is expanding its team! They're in the market for a resourceful Family Law Paralegal to support attorneys working in all areas of family law.

Your responsibilities will encompass full case management including managing discovery, conducting investigations, tracking deadlines, and responding to RFPs. Working closely with attorneys, you'll assist with trial prep and attend hearings, trials, and mediations. Your communication skills will be key as you coordinate with clients, prepare witnesses for trial, and gather witness statements.

This team is seeking someone congenial, detail-oriented, and great at keeping up with shifting priorities. If you have solid organizational skills and know how to be both patient and persistent as the right hand of a busy team, you'll do great here!

This is an in-office position.
