Our client, a boutique family law firm, is seeking a part-time, divorce law paralegal. This job is fully remote, but the paralegal must be located in Florida. Pay rate is $35/hour.

Responsibilities include:

1. Litigation and case management
2. Calendaring
3. Preparing and reviewing financial affidavits
4. Preparing mandatory disclosures for the client and reviewing disclosures from the opposing party
5. Preparing discovery requests outside of mandatory disclosures where appropriate
6. Preparing equitable distribution spreadsheets
7. Preparing mediation summaries and pre-court hearing summaries

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years’ experience in divorce law preferred
• Excellent communication skills with clients, attorneys, judicial assistants, and court officials
• Ability to draft and file motions, orders, and judgments through the Florida e-portal system
• Knowledge of judicial rules of administration and local rules for judges
• Legal research skills are a bonus
