Our client, an elite family law firm, is seeking a Matrimonial/Family Law Associate Attorney, to join their winning team in White Plains.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to Clients facing various types of Matrimonial and Family Law matters, most notably: Uncontested divorce, contested divorce, child custody petitions, surrogacy contracts and pre-birth orders, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, child support modification.
  • Preparation and drafting of legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research.
  • Continued legal learning through participation in CLE, outside research, and Firm-sponsored educational workshops.
  • Strict adherence to Attorney-Client confidentiality.
  • Always maintain a professional and courteous attitude with clients, opposing counsels, Courts, and co-workers.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 10 years of experience exclusively in a divorce and family law setting.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar (Admission to Connecticut State Bar a plus) with membership in good standing.
  • Demonstrated expertise in New York family law statutes, regulations, and legal principles.
  • Excellent legal writing skills.
  • Ability to manage 30+ complex cases at the same time.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Compassionate and empathetic towards Clients
