Qualifications

• Experience in Family Law including divorce, custody, support, and property division matters.
• Proficiency in drafting and arguing motions, pleadings, orders, and other court filings.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and work independently and in a team.
• Active license to practice law in Florida and in good standing with the state bar.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather facts and advise on strategy.
• Assess case facts and provide legal advice on options and risks.
• Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and other court filings.
• Prepare and review settlement agreements and related documents.
• Manage and organize case files to ensure timely progression.

The Family Law Attorney will handle a range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, support, property division, and related legal issues. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients, assessing case facts, providing legal advice, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing and reviewing agreements, and managing case files. The attorney will conduct discovery, participate in depositions, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials as needed. Collaboration with paralegals and other attorneys to develop case strategies and maintain timely communication with clients is essential. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Tampa area with a mix of in-office and work-from-home flexibility.
