Job Details

Our esteemed legal firm is currently seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of family law legal proceedings, including divorce, annulment, child custody, visitation rights, child support payments, and alimony.
• Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
• Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support your client's case.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients about their legal rights and obligations.
• Represent clients in court and advocate for their best interests.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an attempt to avoid court proceedings.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their case.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in family law and the legal industry.
• Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to ensure the best outcome for the client.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, specifically in family law.
• Admission to the State Bar of North Carolina.
• Excellent ability to draft motions and other legal documents.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of family law and court procedures.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven track record of representing clients in court and achieving favorable outcomes.
• Ability to manage multiple cases with varying levels of complexity.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
