The ideal applicant will have a reputation for compassion and intelligence, coupled with the ability to adopt an assertive approach when necessary to help clients achieve favorable outcomes. Highly versed in negotiations who would rather help clients resolve their conflicts and reach agreements; however, will not hesitate to take clients' matters to court when necessary to fight for their rights.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Family Law Attorney position must possess the following qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing attorney, specifically within family law.
• In-depth knowledge in areas of matrimonial law, child custody, annulment, matrimony, and domestic abuse.
• Current license to practice law in the state.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong analytical ability and exceptional problem-solving skills.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Ability to manage multiple cases with varying timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and part of a team.
• Strong commitment to client service and demonstrated dedication to issues of family law.
