Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Family Law Attorney for our Delray Beach, FL office. You will represent clients in family law matters, prepare filings, negotiate settlements, and advise on child custody and support in a fast-growing boutique firm.

Requires JD from accredited law school, 1+ year family law experience, and license to practice in Florida. On-site role with hybrid flexibility and a competitive bonus program; benefits include 401K match, PTO and comprehensive medical.

• Negotiate settlements in family law disputes.
• Conduct research and analysis of legal problems to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
• Manage various projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Develop a strategy and create a plan of action for all cases.
• Communicate with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case.

Responsibilities:

As a Family Law Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation.
2. Prepare legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, appeals, wills, contracts, and real estate closing statements.
3. Provide legal advice to clients on child support, divorce, custody, and other family law matters.

3. Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
4. Proven track record of success in family law cases.
5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
6. Ability to handle high-stress situations and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
