You will work closely with clients, legal assistants, and senior attorneys to manage a diverse caseload, including divorce, child custody, equitable distribution, spousal support, and other domestic law matters.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Initial Responsibilities - Observations of negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings.
• Legal Representation/Client Care - Conduct negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings. Ensure proper communication and conveyance of legal advice to clients. Case management from consultation to final resolution of client matters.
• Business Development - Drafting blogs, maintaining an online presence, and in-person networking events.
• Keeping track of billable time entries and assisting on collections.
• Attendance at regular firm meetings and development programs and training.

Qualifications:

• Speaks Spanish and English fluently (strongly preferred).
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited Law School.
• Admission to, Licensed and in Good Standing with the North Carolina State Bar (Exception: Planning to sit for the North Carolina State Bar in 2025)
