The ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, property division, and other domestic relations issues.

• Represent clients in all aspects of family law matters, including divorce, legal separation, and marital dissolution.
• Handle contested and uncontested custody, visitation, child support, and spousal support matters.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials.
• Negotiate favorable settlements while protecting clients' legal and financial interests.
• Manage cases from inception through resolution.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide strategic legal advice.
• Collaborate with paralegals and other legal professionals to ensure effective case management.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• 5+ years of family law experience
• Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar.
• Prior experience handling family law matters.
• Strong knowledge of California family law statutes and procedures.
• Experience with legal research, drafting, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload and prioritize competing deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.

Preferred Experience

• Experience handling complex divorce and high-asset property division matters.
• Experience with custody disputes and support proceedings.
• Experience representing clients in contested hearings and trials.
• Familiarity with California family law court procedures and local rules.

Salary and Compensation

Base salary ranges from $160,000-300,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidates.
