Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Temporary Family Law Attorney for an immediate contract role in Central Austin, TX. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and coverage during maternity leave, with open to attorneys across Texas.

The ideal candidate will handle high-net-worth and complex domestic relations matters, perform rigorous legal research and drafting, and support litigation strategy from start to finish. Strong research, writing, and independent work skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Experience in family law preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analyze family law issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Assist with litigation strategy and case preparation.
• Support attorneys on complex family law disputes.
• Review case files and summarize legal issues and developments.
• Draft client correspondence and legal communications.
• Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to move matters forward efficiently.
• Family law experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Litigation support from inception to resolution.

Temporary Family Law Attorney (Contract) Central Austin, Texas (Hybrid) | Open to Attorneys Across Texas

Immediate Start | Maternity Leave Coverage

LHH Legal is partnering with a respected Austin-based family law firm to identify a Temporary Family Law Attorney for an immediate contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to work alongside an experienced legal team handling sophisticated family law matters, including high-net-worth and complex domestic relations cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analyze family law issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents
• Assist with litigation strategy and case preparation
• Support attorneys on complex family law disputes
• Review case files and summarize legal issues and developments
• Draft client correspondence and legal communications
• Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to move matters forward efficiently
• Family law experience strongly preferred
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Litigation support experience from case inception through resolution
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
