Overview

Modern Family Law is growing, and we are looking for talented attorneys to join our team. We are currently offering a $15,000 signing bonus. Modern Family Law is a rapidly expanding national law firm specializing in Family Law and is seeking a remote Family Law Associate Attorney to join our Austin office (remote but must reside near Austin to attend hearings or meet with clients in the office).

Base pay range: $95,000.00/yr - $151,800.00/yr

Eligibility: This is a full-time position with remote/work-from-home flexibility where applicable.

To be successful in this role, the Family Law Associate Attorney will:

  • Be adept at handling a variety of family law cases, such as divorce, custody, and child and spousal support.
  • Be comfortable with direct client communications, drafting legal documents, and handling depositions, court appearances, and mediations.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple responsibilities with attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively within a team-oriented setting, ensuring collective success.

Compensation:

  • $95,000 - $151,800 annually base salary. This range is a reliable estimate of the base salary plus potential commissions based on billable hours and collections that the individual is expected to receive. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, billable hour expectations, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Full-time employees are eligible for health insurance with an optional Health Savings Account (HSA), short-term disability, long-term disability, dental, vision, life insurance, healthcare and dependent care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k) Retirement Plan, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
  • Additional voluntary programs include voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life insurance, voluntary disability, voluntary long-term care, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance, and pet insurance. Commuter and transit benefit programs may also be available in certain markets.

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of Family Law experience preferred.
