Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active Texas license.
• Experience or interest in Family Law matters.
• Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law relevant to family law cases.
• Clear, practical legal advice to clients in emotionally sensitive situations.
• Strong legal research and case analysis skills (statutes, regs, case law).
• Excellent written advocacy and drafting skills for pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
• Excellent verbal communication, courtroom presentation, and client counseling abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize deadlines, and work with a legal team.
• Prior family law experience, clerkships, or internships in litigation settings is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to assess issues and provide initial guidance.
• Draft pleadings and motions, prepare discovery, and analyze case law.
