Location:
Duties:
- Handle a variety of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and property division.
- Represent clients in court and make all required in-court appearances.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Meet with clients to provide legal advice and updates on case progress.
- Collaborate with paralegals, other attorneys, and administrative staff to ensure efficient case handling.
- Attend mediation and settlement conferences to negotiate favorable outcomes for clients.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients to build trust and ensure satisfaction throughout the legal process.
- Stay current on legal developments and trends in family law.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in family law.
- Active admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.
- Exceptional writing skills, demonstrated through writing samples.
- Strong verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex legal issues clearly.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple cases.
- A client-focused mindset with a commitment to exceptional service.
- Strong references attesting to expertise and professionalism.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active California State Bar membership in good standing.
