Orionplacement is seeking a Virginia-licensed attorney for our Leesburg/Manassas hybrid family law practice. You will manage divorce, custody, and child support matters and represent clients in court and negotiations.

The ideal candidate has a JD from an accredited law school, 1+ year family law experience, and strong research, writing, and advocacy skills. This role offers collaborative support within a growing team.

Qualificações

• Active Virginia Bar license is required.
• 1+ year of family law experience is required.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Experience handling divorce, custody, or other family law matters.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating with a supportive team.
• Courtroom and litigation experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage family law cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, equitable distribution, and related matters.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, negotiations, and other legal proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
• Develop effective case strategies and guide clients through each stage of the legal process.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive legal arguments.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.
• Build trusted client relationships through clear communication, compassion, and responsive representation.

Note: Candidates must have an active Virginia Bar license and at least 1 year of family law experience. We are seeking an attorney who is comfortable handling family law matters and eager to grow their litigation and client advocacy skills.
