You will handle divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, and related issues, draft pleadings, and represent clients in court and mediation. Work with shareholders and paralegals to achieve favorable outcomes while developing your practice.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Admission to the Minnesota State Bar (or pending) is necessary.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated interest in family law through coursework, internships, or previous experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently on tasks.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of family law cases, including divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, property division, and post-decree issues.
• Provide compassionate counsel to clients during emotionally charged and complex family law matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
• Represent clients in court, at mediation, and in settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with shareholder attorneys and paralegals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
• Conduct legal research and stay current on Minnesota family law changes.
