Qualifications

• Two (2) years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience in providing direct support services to persons with developmental/intellectual, emotional or physical disabilities
• Substitution: Associate’s degree or higher may substitute for one year of required experience
• Incumbents must possess a valid driver’s license at a class level specific to assignment
• Education, licensure, and certifications will be verified per Hiring Guidelines

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing individual and family needs and develop goals and interventions
• Provide direct supports in home or community (behavioral, recreational, and community integration)
• Instruct and assist with daily living and social skills
• Train and mentor family members to implement program goals and contract
• Work with families to implement goals and perform administrative tasks as needed

Skills

Bilingual ability (Spanish) preferred

Knowledge of general disability groups

Understanding of Human Rights

Ability to use current marketed软件

Education

Associate’s degree or higher in human services field
