Job summary

Centro is looking for a Family Resource Worker in Massachusetts. This role involves recruitment, training, and supervision of foster care providers. Key duties include conducting assessments, maintaining communication with staff and foster families, and managing program quality with a minimum caseload of 12 homes.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field, bilingual in English and Spanish, and a valid MA driver’s license. Knowledge of the Massachusetts foster care system is preferred.

Qualifications

• MLicensed Social Work Assistant (LSWA) or obtaining a Massachusetts Social Work license within six months.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Recruitment, Training, Supervision and Evaluation of foster care providers.
• Conduct monthly home visits to support foster parents.
• Provide clinical assessments and maintain direct communication with staff.
• Organize networking and professional development activities.
• Conduct community outreach activities.
