United Way Miami, Inc. is hiring a Specialist, Family Engagement EHS CCP to join our team. You will build relationships with the enrolled families of your caseload to support program foundations, program impact areas, family engagement outcomes, and child outcomes.

The Specialist coordinates the development of the annual community assessments. The Family Engagement Specialist will work with site directors to ensure engagement and compliance with Head Start performance standards, while

Qualifikationen

• Education requirements: Bachelor's in Human Services or related; Master’s preferred; CPR and 15 PD hours per year.
• Experience with data collection, information processes and policy compliance; enrollment data.
• Advanced computer literacy: spreadsheets, word processing, email; knowledge of modern browsers.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and ability to interpret policies and regulations.
• Career growth: formal and informal development programs, coaching, and on-the-job challenges.

Aufgaben

• Maintain a caseload of 40-48 families at assigned EHS-CCP sites.
• Implement and follow PFCE Framework to enhance family engagement and program services.
• Create partnerships with families to promote parent-child relationships and family well-being.
• Support families in safety, health, financial stability, and goal setting.
• Conduct home visits for enrollments and addressing attendance or safety concerns.
• Educate parents on committees and community opportunities to promote leadership.
