Easter Seals New Hampshire, Inc. is seeking a Family Engagement Specialist to support families in Brattleboro, Vermont.
You will facilitate family meetings, provide in-home services, and coach parents to ensure safe, nurturing interactions for children in DCF custody. The role emphasizes building family networks, coordinating with extended relatives, and developing genograms to strengthen family resilience.

Then come join our Easterseals Vermont team! We are looking for a Family Engagement Specialist to join our team! Our work is challenging, but we strive to create strong teams and love to learn and laugh together! As a Family Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating family meetings and providing in-home support to strengthen families in their homes. You will coach parents to have safe and nurturing time with their children who are placed in DCF custody, and support them to meet the needs of their children in the moment. You will also call extended family members to explore familial support and create genograms. While we work closely with Department of Children and Families - Family Services Division, we have our own separate and comfortable offices! We are searching for candidates who understand the complex issues facing families including past trauma, substance use disorders, domestic violence, mental health issues and generational poverty. Extensive training and supervision are provided.
Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. We are hoping for flexibility to support parents' individual schedules. We support a healthy work/life balance in this job.
$22.00 - $25.75 hourly, dependent upon experience and education.
