Homes for the Homeless in Staten Island, NY seeks a Family Engagement Specialist to support families and enhance their stay through coordinated activities and events. You will serve as a positive role model with strong communication, helping families access onsite programs and services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Experience leading activities with children, teens, and adults.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing family events and support.
• Organize family activities for parents and children of all ages.
• Lead arts and crafts projects and supervise games.
• Ensure safety and engagement during activities.
• Support events and program activities as needed.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Family Programs Coordinator.
