Zusammenfassung

BakerRipley seeks a dedicated Head Start Family Service Worker to support families in achieving their goals and accessing community resources. The role focuses on coordinating in-home services, conducting home visits, and promoting parent involvement to enhance children’s development and education.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 3 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills. Bilingual ability is a plus; credentials must be earned within 12 months.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education, sociology, or related field.
• 3 years minimum experience in a social service setting with children and/or families.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Must receive Family Development Credential within 1 year.

Aufgaben

• Maintain a full case load and provide timely follow up of services.
• Track delivery of Head Start services using the agency tracking system.
• Maintain documentation with deadlines and quality notes.
• Develop strengths-based assessments describing family goals, resources and supports.
• Conduct home visits, referrals, and adjustments to family goals/plans.
• Maintain an up-to-date Parent Involvement Calendar of Events and assist with governance activities.
• Research and stay current on program and community resources.
• Conduct outreach, recruitment, and enrollment paperwork.
• Coordinate integrated services across all content areas: Family & Community Engagement; Student Support Services; Family Wellness; Eligibility, Recruitment, Enrollment, Attendance, and Child Development Services.
• Actively promote parent involvement in the program and child’s education.
