Job summary

CFR in the Bronx seeks a Litigation Supervisor to oversee staff attorneys in interdisciplinary teams with social workers, family advocates, paralegals and parent advocates on Article 10 and related proceedings (Custody, Orders of Protection, Guardianship, TPR). The role includes guiding litigation practice, coordinating case practice and attorney workgroups, and developing training materials.

Qualifications

• Four to six years of experience in Article 10/TPR family court proceedings or seven years in related indigent representation.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with organizational or program development, training, and ancillary proceedings is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, teamwork, and staff-management aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff attorneys across experience levels in interdisciplinary teams.
• Write professional development reviews and coordinate case practice and attorney workgroup meetings.
• Develop practice materials for CFR staff and collaborate with ACS and other agencies.
• Assist in strategic planning, policy work, and program development for the agency.
