Job summary

The Division of Family & Community Services within the State of Illinois seeks an energetic Assistant Family and Community Resource Center (FCRC) Administrator to oversee the Rock Island Office. You will supervise staff delivering public assistance and referrals, coordinate operations, and implement new policies and procedures.

This role requires a four-year college degree in a social or human services field and several years of administrative experience in related services.

Qualifications

• Requires 4 years of college in a social or human services field.
• 3 years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a health or human services org.
• Bilingual option: None
• Travel ability as needed for duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the Rock Island Office.
• Supervise professional and non-professional staff providing public assistance or referrals.
• Confer with subordinate supervisors on personnel issues and evaluations.
• Plan and implement special management assignment projects.
• Coordinate workflow across the office on a rotational basis.
