Job summary

CHI Health Clinic at Midland's Family Clinic, located near Hwy 370 & 84th St, Papillion, seeks an LPN to deliver compassionate, high-quality care within an interdisciplinary team. You will perform general nursing duties, assess patients, and collaborate for optimal outcomes in a busy clinic.

The role requires completion of an accredited LPN program, current Nebraska LPN license, BLS certification, and IV Therapy training. A sign-on bonus and education assistance are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Current LPN license in good standing with the state licensing board.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association.
• Completion of IV Therapy Course.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established clinic workflows.
• May perform specific nursing care as it relates to the specialty of the practice.
• Obtain and document health history, vital signs, and health risk factors and assess disease conditions.
• Provide patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
• Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

Expectations

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established clinic workflows.

• Obtain and document health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors and assess disease conditions.


• Provide patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.


• Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.


• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.
