Job summary

Exceptional Parents Unlimited, Inc. is seeking an Early Childhood Specialist I to join a transdisciplinary early intervention team serving infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families in natural, inclusive environments.

The role centers on the family, coordinating assessment and IFSP goals, delivering direct services, documenting progress, and collaborating with Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy staff to support development and participation in daily routines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and CA credential preferred.
• Experience with infants/toddlers and families; knowledge of IFSP processes.
• Strong communication, collaboration and cultural responsiveness.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary provider to ensure services meet IFSP goals for infants/toddlers and families.
• Deliver direct services in natural, inclusive environments and maintain productivity.
• Prepare written/oral reports integrating findings for family-centered planning.
• Coordinate with family and team to link evaluation with intervention planning.
• Coach Early Intervention Assistants and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Maintain confidential records; use Apricot 360 system for data entry.
