Job summary

Bluebonnet Trails Community Services seeks an Early Intervention Specialist to empower infants, toddlers, and families through collaborative, trauma-informed care and family-centered coaching.

You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering home, daycare, or community-based services with a hybrid model of in-person and telehealth care. Texas certification training will be completed within the first year of employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively with families and professionals.
• Experience or willingness to work with infants, toddlers and families.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Families and Team Members: Work with families, doctors, professionals and community partners to evaluate needs, develop treatment plans, and track progress.
• Provide Specialized Skills Training: Support children as they develop functional skills through engaging strategies that promote growth and independence.
• Case Management: Help families access services and advocacy, ensuring they understand their rights and feel supported.
• Use Creative Coaching Strategies: Implement the Coaching Model so families lead in their child’s development.
• Trauma-Informed Care: Approach interactions with empathy, creating a safe environment for families.
