Merakey seeks a Family Based Case Manager to join our Child and Family Services team in Kennett Square, PA, covering Chester County. The role involves delivering treatment services, coordinating with schools and providers, and supporting families at home and in the community.

The position requires a psychology/social work background, 1+ year of relevant experience with youth, and a PA driver's license. Earn $25.22/hour with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related discipline or a bachelor's degree with 12 credits in counseling or psychology.
• A minimum of one year experience working with children or adolescents.
• A valid Pennsylvania Driver's license and access to reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides treatment services to families including skills training and education to enable families to care for their mentally ill or emotionally disturbed children at home.
• Maintains regular communication with families, schools, physicians, and other service providers involved with the children and family.
• Works flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of children and families on caseload.
• Travels to client's homes, other agencies, and community resources for arranging and providing home-based services.
