Balekian Hayes is seeking a family attorney in the Dallas area who is passionate about representing clients through divorce, custody, alimony, and related matters. You will handle prenups, divorces, alimony, and real estate issues, and work with cases involving child abuse and domestic violence as needed.

The role offers a hybrid work environment with a competitive salary of $125,000 to $195,000 per year plus unlimited bonus potential.

Formación

• Licensed Texas attorney and not awaiting bar results.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in family law.
• Must live in the Dallas metroplex or be willing to commute to Dallas.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients by understanding needs, analyzing and strategizing the appropriate course of action.
• Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases.
• Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to move files through civil litigation process.
• Represent clients effectively at court hearings as needed.

About this position

Our growing law firm is looking to hire a family attorney who is fiercely passionate about representing clients facing one of the most challenging times in their lives. Candidates should be adept at preparing necessary legal documents in connection with prenuptial agreements, initiating and finalizing divorces, alimony, child support/child custody, and real estate. Experience in handling legal issues such as child abuse, child custody, and domestic violence is also a must. If you have a proven record of success both in and out of court.

Compensation

$125,000 - $195,000 yearly with unlimited bonus potential

Responsibilities

• Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action
• Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases
• Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process
• Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed

Qualifications

• Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations
• Must be a licensed Texas attorney and not awaiting bar results
• Must have no less than 1 year in family law
• Must live in the Dallas metroplex or be willing to commute to Dallas
