Job summary

A large Catholic family in the Northern Virginia/DC area seeks a full-time Family Assistant to support a bustling household. The role involves partnering with mom, supervising children, and helping with meals, activities, and daily routines in a busy home near a Catholic church community.

We offer a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 40 hours/week) with a pay rate of $30–$35 per hour. Housing is optional in a private area of the home, with its own bathroom; living on-site can be free and utilities

Qualifications

• College graduate preferred (Newman Guide school)
• Comfortable with young children and active households
• Valid driver’s license and confident driver
• Willing to learn the family’s routines and do the job well
• Experience 0–5 years likely sufficient

Responsibilities

• Partner with mom to keep household running smoothly
• Childcare and supervision
• Assist with meals, activities, and daily routines
• Daily household chores (no heavy cleaning)
• Occasional errands or organization tasks
• Minor help with children's Catholic education, but none of the children are homeschooled
