Job summary

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and math aptitude are essential.
• Credential in related field must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
• Experience with low-income families preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead eligibility, recruitment, enrollment and attendance at the center level.
• Maintain professional attitude and cooperate with staff, parents, volunteers and community persons.
• Advocate for parents to obtain needed services and complete forms.
• Facilitate communication between parents and staff; support self-sufficiency goals.
• Coordinate with agencies for family services, case management and agreements.
• Verify immunization status and coordinate health-related screenings as required.
• Enter data into MYHS and maintain confidential records.
• Attend staffings, QTM, center and parent meetings; mobilize local resources.
