Job summary

Burnsville-Eagan-Savage District 191 is seeking an Assistant Coach for Strength and Conditioning for the Fall term at Burnsville High School. The role includes organizing the Strength & Conditioning program, hiring/mentoring coaches, and budgeting with fundraising duties as needed.

Stipend for Fall 0.2 FTE is $1,400. Ideal candidates have Minnesota teaching and coaching certification and experience in Strength & Conditioning.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the sport and coaching practices.
• Familiarity with Minnesota State High School League rules.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong communication with students, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Organize and administer Strength & Conditioning program.
• Assist athletics director with hiring, development and evaluation of coaches.
• Plan and supervise Strength & Conditioning activities for all programs.
• Coordinate budget requests and fundraising as needed.
• Implement in-season and out-of-season conditioning plans.
• Model discipline and sportsmanship; manage penalties for students.
• Perform other relevant duties for the program.
