Job summary

Burnsville-Eagan-Savage District 191 is seeking an 1.0 Assistant Coach for soccer for the Fall term. The position includes a stipend of $2300 and focuses on student-athlete development, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

The coach will organize practices, coordinate schedules, work with the athletics director, and support conditioning programs. A coaching license or MSHSL certification is preferred, with an emphasis on character-building over winning.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the sport (coaching level/skill) and adherence to school policies.
• Ability to prioritize tasks while managing multiple activities.
• Strong communication with students, parents, staff, and administration.

Responsibilities

• Organize and administer coaching operations for the athletic team.
• Plan and supervise practices, events, and competitions.
• Coordinate with athletics director and booster club on budget and fundraising needs.
• Support conditioning programs with weight training staff.
• Schedule practices and games with the Athletics Office and other programs.
• Enforce discipline and model sportsmanship; administer penalties as needed.
• Perform other duties related to the program.
