Job summary

Bristol Public Schools seeks a High School PM Athletic Coordinator for the fall season at Bristol Eastern High School. The stipend for this position is $2,268.16, and the role reports to the Director of Athletics.

The coordinator will assist in organizing the athletics program, supervise home contests, coordinate visiting teams, and ensure compliance with district policies. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Connecticut coaching certification or temporary emergency coaching permit.
• Updated CPR/First Aid training approved by Connecticut State Department of Education.
• Ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the middle school sports offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and administering the overall program of extracurricular athletics.
• Attend and supervise home athletic contests and coordinate replacements when needed.
• Assist with visiting teams arrival and departure and with athletic officials.
• Develop appropriate rules governing student conduct during after-school events.
• Assist in developing budgets and equipment requests.
