Job summary

Chess Wizards, Inc. in Snohomish, WA is hiring enthusiastic instructors for our after-school chess program. Lead fun, interactive classes for elementary students using our structured curriculum; manage a lively classroom and promote good sportsmanship.

Flexible schedule: teach 1–5 classes per week, typically between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM at local schools. Travel to sites with mileage reimbursement. Join our team and help kids learn and love chess.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, camp counseling, or similar).
• Ability to lead a class independently and create interactive, friendly sessions.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students.
• Teach chess fundamentals using our curriculum and promote good sportsmanship.
• Manage a lively classroom with confidence and positivity.
