Chess Wizards, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic, reliable instructors to join our after-school enrichment program in Auburn, WA. If you love chess, enjoy working with kids, and can deliver a fun, engaging class using our structured curriculum, this is the perfect side-hustle.

You will lead 10-15 student sessions, teach fundamentals, promote good sportsmanship, and supervise a lively classroom after school hours on weekdays between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Travel between local schools is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children in educational or recreational settings.
• Ability to lead a class independently and keep sessions interactive and fun.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to supervise students in an after-school environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive chess classes for elementary students.
• Use structured curriculum to teach chess fundamentals and good sportsmanship.
• Manage a lively classroom with confidence and positivity.
• Encourage problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Follow school safety protocols during arrival, dismissal and in-class activities.
• Travel to various local school sites for each session.
