Job summary

BlueWave in Boston is seeking a Fall Co-op to join our Engineering team. You\'ll support PV solar and battery storage design layouts, energy models, and review construction submittals, surveys, and geotechnical reports, gaining hands-on experience through design to construction.

This role is ideal for a student pursuing a Bachelor\'s in Civil or Electrical Engineering who wants practical, project-based engineering in a fast-paced renewable-energy environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CAD preferred, but not required.
• Interest in renewable energy and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of design layouts and energy models.
• Support the creation of construction details.
• Review construction product submittals under the direction of subject matter experts.
• Review surveys and geotechnical reports under the direction of subject matter experts.
• Take on additional tasks as designated by the engineering team to help advance projects through design and construction.
