Job summary

NIA Community Services Network, Inc. seeks a part-time Teacher/Instructor to plan and lead structured activities in a specialty area. You will collaborate with Group Leaders while taking lead on behavior management and classroom maintenance.

Responsibilities include submitting lesson plans, drafting activity plans for specialists or colleagues, and ensuring participant safety and orderly dismissal to guardians listed on enrollment forms.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of prior experience teaching or facilitating group activities with students.
• High school diploma required; college coursework in education/youth development preferred.
• Elementary Education: 1 year (Preferred); Instructor: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead activities with a Group Leader or staff; manage behavior and classroom maintenance.
• Submit lesson plans, activity plans, and culminating activity plan per deadlines.

Job description

The Teacher/Instructor is responsible for the planning and leading of structured activities in a particular specialty area. Activities will be led with the assistance of a Group Leader or fellow staff member.
