Job Description

The Department of Psychology & Communication seeks to establisha pool of qualified applicants for future, part-time AdjunctFaculty appointments in Psychology. Successful applicants may teachup to six (6) semester credit hours within the required disciplineas dictated by student demand, hold office hours, and assiststudents as needed. This position requires face-to-faceinteractions through a regular schedule of attendance oncampus.

Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in Psychology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• An earned doctorate in Psychology.
• Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level.
• Prior relevant professional experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to teach subject matter effectively and in alignmentwith program learning outcomes (PLOs) and student learning outcomes(SLOs)
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with thepublic.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in an academicenvironment.
• Ability to promptly meet semester timelines (e.g., completingUniversity training courses, submission of syllabi, posting ofgrades).
