Job summary

Texas A&M International University seeks qualified candidates for a pool of part-time Adjunct Faculty in Physics (On Campus) for Summer 2026. Positions require face-to-face interaction on campus and may include online teaching depending on schedule and demand.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in the discipline (or closely related field with at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline) and ideally have previous collegiate teaching experience.

Job Description

The Department of Mathematics and Physics seeks to establish a pool of qualified applicants for future, part-time Adjunct Faculty appointments in Physics On Campus. This pool is for Summer 2026. Successful applicants may teach up to six (6) semester credit hours within the required discipline online as dictated by program, course schedule, and student demand; hold office hours; and assist students as needed. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on campus.

Education and Experience

Master's degree in the discipline, or a closely related field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level.

Adjunct Faculty positions are temporary appointments, assigned per semester and on an as-needed basis.

These temporary appointments are for the Summer Session 2026 and/or any applicable Summer 2026 Sub-terms.
