Verdantas LLC in the United States is seeking a Part-Time Fall Intern pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or a related field to support our accounting and business operations team. You will help with invoice tracking, reconciliations, and data entry, gaining hands-on experience in a real-world environment.

The role emphasizes Excel-driven reporting, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance from seasoned professionals.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts receivable is preferred
Strong Excel skills including formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, and data validation
Proficient with Outlook, Word, and Teams

Responsibilities

Maintain and update invoice tracking spreadsheets, project billing logs, and contract status records
Review and reconcile information across accounting systems and records for accuracy
Track invoice submissions, payment status, and outstanding balances
Assist with accounts receivable follow-up and payment reminders
Create and maintain reports using Excel with basic financial analysis
Identify discrepancies and maintain data integrity
Organize electronic contract files and project documentation
