  • Eligible for full-time employment by July 2028.
  • Demonstrated interest in AI or generative tools via coursework, projects, or personal work.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Flint Hills Resources is seekinga Software Engineering Co-Opin the Information Technology department in Wichita, KS.

This co-op role is based in-office in Wichita, KS. You can anticipate working 15-25 hours per week (primary hours between 7:00AM-5:00PM) with flexibility to work around your school schedule.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to one of the following areas: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems,or related technical field
  • Initiative, natural curiosity, strong communication skills, and an aptitude for fast-paced learning
  • Currently residing in Wichita, KS or the surrounding area
  • Eligible for full-time employment by July 2028
  • Demonstrated interest in or experimentation with AI or generative tools (coursework, class projects, personal projects, hackathons, or hands-on use of AI assistants/ LLM’s )
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
