Flint Hills Resources in Wichita, KS is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to provide administrative, communication, event coordination, and systems support for teams based in Wichita. The role partners with leadership and staff to streamline office operations, manage communications, support business systems, and coordinate meetings and events.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities while driving process improvements

Qualifications

• 5+ years of administrative support experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps including Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• Willing to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate meetings, town halls, employee events, and cross-functional activities.
• Support procurement activities, business systems administration, utility accounts, and data management.
• Create, edit, and publish employee communications, newsletters, SharePoint content, forms, and business documents.
• Provide administrative support for leaders and employees, including scheduling, communications, and office operations.
• Improve administrative processes through technology, automation, and standardized workflows.

Your Job Flint Hills Resources is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to provide administrative, communication, event coordination, and systems support for teams based in Wichita, KS.

This role serves as a key partner to leadership and employees by coordinating office operations, managing communications, supporting business systems and procurement activities, and ensuring meetings and events are executed successfully. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who is able to manage multiple priorities while improving processes through technology and automation.

You will support leaders and employees in operational and office environments. Success in this role requires strong collaboration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.

What You Will Do

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• 5+ years of experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment, including support for multiple stakeholders
• Experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Willing and able to travel up to 10%

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience creating employee communications, digital content, or coordinating large employee events.
• Experience with procurement, vendor coordination, utility account management, or business system administration.
